James Vincent McMorrow's work is beautiful and quiet, and loaded with emotion. He draws on a range of influences from great female singers like Billie Holliday to producers like The Neptunes, as well as Americana and folk, and his explorations of darkness and beauty have a spectral quality that is all their own.
