New Jersey trio YO LA TENGO have established themselves as one of the most influential and widely acclaimed indie rock acts of the last 25 years since releasing their first album in 1986. With a distinct style of harmonic guitar-pop that is best expressed in their longer epic tracks, their sound is notable for amongst others, the twin vocal pairing of the husband and wife duo that is Ira Kaplan and Georgia Hubley

An act who have improved and broadened their sound with many critics acclaiming their latest album ‘Popular Songs’, released on Matador Records in late 2009, as their finest work yet. Not many acts achieve that sort of reaction on their twelfth album. Equally, their live shows have continued to improve over the years and they have long established a cult following for their in concerts in Ireland, as they have all over the world.
